PBA: Aces and Hotshots finally start showdown for title
Wednesday at the MOA Arena, the 2018 Governors' Cup Finals tips off featuring the no. 3 Alaska Aces taking on the no. 4 Magnolia Hotshots.

After giving way to Gilas Pilipinas for the last time this year, the PBA is back in action for its final showcase of 2018.

Wednesday at the MOA Arena, the 2018 Governors' Cup Finals tips off featuring the no. 3 Alaska Aces taking on the no. 4 Magnolia Hotshots.

The Aces are coming off a 3-1 semifinals win over Meralco and they seek their first PBA title in five years,

Alaska will have leading Best Import contender Mike Harris as its no. 1 option with Vic Manuel and Chris Banchero serving as the top local support.

Meanwhile, Magnolia will go for its first championship in four years or since the franchise completed the Grand Slam in the 2014 season.

Import Romeo Travis should be ready to go for the series opener while Paul Lee and Ian Sangalang would have had enough time to recover from their bumps and bruises sustained following a sensational 3-1 in Manila Clasico over former champion Brgy. Ginebra.

Game 1 of this best-of-7 showdown will tip off at 7:00 p.m.
