PBA: Hotshots go for 2-0 lead in Governors' Cup Finals
The Hotshots' guard crew proved to be superior in Game 1 of the PBA Finals.

Hopefully, action gets sharper in the 2018 PBA Governors' Cup Finals.

In the series-opener Wednesday, it was natural for both Alaska and Magnolia to feel some sort of rust of not playing for over two weeks.

It wasn't as evident for the Hotshots as they started the series on a 15-0 blast and went on to win by 16 points.

The Aces, not so much obviously.

And so in Game 2, Magnolia looks to continue its hot streak for a commanding 2-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Import Romeo Travis is still dominating while the Hotshots' guard crew proved to be superior in Game 1.

As for the Aces, better production overall should be a priority if they don't want to fall behind deep so early in the series.

Tip off for Game 2 will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Big Dome.
