PBA: Paul Lee captures his first-ever BPC plum
With Lee at the lead, Magnolia made it to its second Finals this season, dethroning two-time champion Brgy. Ginebra in the semifinals on the way.

Paul Lee gets his first major individual award.

Magnolia's resident hotshot won the 2018 PBA Governors' Cup Best Player of the Conference plum Wednesday, edging out Finals rival Chris Banchero and stats leader Christian Standhardinger.

Drafted second overall in the 2011 Draft, this is Lee's first BPC award ever and it's his highest individual award after previously winning Rookie of the Year and one Finals MVP award in 2016

Through the semifinals, Lee barged into the top-4 of the stats race, finishing with an average of 31.64 statistical points.

Lee went for 17.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.1 assists through the semis.

Lee bested Standhardinger and Banchero for the BPC award.
