PBA DRAFT: Bolick puts all top point guards on notice

Robert Bolick is putting all PBA point guards on notice.

San Beda's top Red Lion says he's looking forward to meeting all the top point guards in the league next season and he's ready to measure himself up against the very best.

Bolick, who carved an impressive college career in the NCAA with the San Beda Red Lions has made himself available in the 2018 PBA Draft and is expected to be a top three pick.

"Lahat ng point guard," Bolick told ABS-CBN Sports when asked if he can name players he's looking forward to facing once he gets in the PBA.

"Kasi lahat ng teams ang galing eh. Banchero, Castro, Romeo, ang dami. Paul Lee, Barroca, Jalalon, Chris Ross. Ang dami. Lahat gusto ko makalaban para makita ko naman hangang saan na ba ako, kung ano matutunan ko sa kanila," he added.

Despite being known as a scorer and a clutch shooter for the Red Lions, Bolick classifies himself as a pass-first point guard.

Whichever team drafts him, Bolick wants to make sure everyone will be taken care of in his new crew.

"Sakin laruin ko lang laro ko, hindi naman ako magbabago. Gusto lang masaya yung team, everybody happy," he said.

The prospect of being a top pick doesn't faze Bolick one bit. He's just ready to play his game and give it his all for his new team.

"Sabi-sabi lang kasi yun eh. Kung mangyari siguro mao-overwhelm ako. Pero as of now, masaya lang ako sa laro ko," Bolick said on his status as a possible top pick.

"Pag alam ko na gusto nila ako, magpapakamatay na ako para sa kanila, kasi may nakikita siguro sila sakin," he added.
