PBA DRAFT: CJ Perez on Columbian:
The former Lyceum star and NCAA MVP instantly brings star power to a star-hungry Columbian as the Dyip look to finally climb out of the PBA cellar.

Now it's official.

CJ Perez is now a member of the Columbian Dyip after he was taken first overall in the 2018 PBA Draft Sunday at Robinsons Place Manila.

The former Lyceum star and NCAA MVP instantly brings star power to a star-hungry Columbian as the Dyip look to finally climb out of the PBA cellar.

"Sobrang saya and excited na ako yung unang pick ng Columbian," Perez said.

Perez is ready to do whatever in the PBA but his mere presence alone adds a boost to Columbian.

Still, Perez knows it's going to take a collective team effort to have the Dyip climb up the standings. Columbian once again finished at the bottom this past season and the team was only good for six wins in three conferences.
