PBA: NLEX offers Desiderio, Tratter for Blackwater's Erram
The Road Warriors are sending the two rookies to Blackwater for JP Erram, the deal is pending approval from the PBA Commissioner's office.

No trades were allowed during the 2018 PBA Draft but as soon as everyone got off the set up at Robinsons Place Manila, things went crazy.

It's officially trade season.

After practically winning the first round, NLEX is ready to trade away its two picks in Paul Desiderio and Abu Tratter.

The Road Warriors are sending the two rookies to Blackwater for JP Erram, the deal is pending approval from the PBA Commissioner's office.

NLEX made Desiderio the surprise no. 4 pick before snagging Tratter using its original seventh pick.

Meanwhile, after a couple of seasons of being Blackwater's anchor, it appears that the Elite are ready to move on from Erram.

"Both teams reached an understanding that a trade involving Poy Erram for our first round picks would be a mutually beneficial move," NLEX said in a statement.

"This doesn't reflect on Paul Desiderio and Abu Tratter's talent, they have exciting careers ahead. If the trade is disapproved, we'd be more than happy to have them on our team," the Road Warriors added.

Blackwater also had a first round pick Sunday and the Elite used their no. 2 slot to take Bobby Ray Parks Jr. out of Alab Pilipinas.
