Terrence Romeo remains a no show in San Miguel practices.

As the Beermen started 2019 Wednesday with their first session of the year, Romeo was still absent at the Acropolis Gym. He was reportedly expected to report January 2.

Terrence was officially acquired by San Miguel in December following a trade with TNT.

The Beermen let go of Brian Heruela, David Semerad, and a first round pick for Romeo. Aside from Terrence, another key player still out in 2017 top pick Christian Standhardinger.

Romeo is now expected to show up tomorrow, January 3.

“Tomorrow yung schedule niya. Ever since naman na nagkaroon ng approval nung trade niya, January 3 he will be here with us,” head coach Leo Austria said.

“We don’t have Christian yet because at the start, nagpa-schedule siya na January 5 ang arrival niya [from abroad],” he added of Standhardinger.

The Beermen are busy preparing for their Philippine Cup title defense to start the PBA’s 44th season. San Miguel is entering as the reigning four-time defending champion.
