San Miguel’s latest star has arrived.
Guard Terrence Romeo finally joined the Beermen in practice Thursday at the Acropolis Gym and went straight to work, running sets with the reigning four-time PBA Philippine Cup Champions.
Romeo was sent to San Miguel two weeks ago from TNT for Brian Heruela and David Semerad plus a future first round pick. Thursday is his first official practice with the team.
Terrence joins a loaded backcourt in San Miguel with old reliables Chris Ross, Marcio Lassiter, and Alex Cabagnot. Romeo also has the luxury of finding June Mar Fajardo, Arwind Santos, and Christian Standhardinger on offense.
After a terrible breakup with Globalport, the team that drafted him into the PBA, Romeo didn’t last long with TNT. Terrence only lasted two conferences with the KaTropa before he found himself as a member of the Beermen.
