PBA: Terrence on Arwind: “Ayaw mo siyang kalaban”
In the 2018 PBA All-Star Game, Terrence Romeo and Arwind Santos infamously went at it but fast forward to about eight months and the two stars are now teammates over at San Miguel and it should create a rather interesting dynamic with the Beermen.

As much as we would like to root for Terrence Romeo, there’s no denying that he has quite the reputation.

Romeo has left two teams on weirdly bad terms and his scuffles with opposing players have been seen on national television.

One of the more weird ones came last year when Romeo and Arwind Santos went at it... in the PBA All-Star Game.

Yes, the All-Star game. You’d think that a mere exhibition would be free of shenanigans but Romeo and Arwind went at it in Batangas last year, earning technical fouls.

Fast forward to about eight months and the two stars are now teammates over at San Miguel and it should create a rather interesting dynamic with the Beermen.

Romeo though, is excited about the development.

“Pagdating sa games talagang ayaw mo siyang kalaban dahil marami siyang mind games,” Romeoo said of Arwind.

“Pero pag teammate mo siya, talagang nagsusuportahan kayo, nandiyan lagi siya para sayo,” he added.

Aside from Arwind, another player Romeo infamously butted heads with last season was Marcio Lasssiter.

Of course, Lassiter is also a member of the Beermen.

With that much history, Romeo knows that he’s the one that will adjust to San Miguel and he’s well aware of of that. As he finds his role with his new team, Terrence just wants to play some good basketball with his new teammates.

“Syempre gusto ko mapadali yung basketball para sa kanila,” Romeo said.

“Gusto ko maging effective kasama sila, ako mismo yung dapat lumapit sa kanila kasi solid na sila eh,” he added.
