PBA: Terrence’s troubled past not an issue to SMB
By now, it’s no secret that Romeo had some bad exit with his former teams in Globalport and TNT. None of that matters now that Terrence is a member of the Beermen.

Terrence Romeo’s past will have nothing to do with his present situation over at San Miguel as far as head coach Leo Austria is concerned.

By now, it’s no secret that Romeo had some bad exits with his former teams in Globalport and TNT.

None of that matters now that Terrence is a member of the Beermen.

“What happened to his last two teams ano, it’s already in the past and we’re not thinking about it,” Austria said on Romeo.

“What we’re thinking about is his present, his present situation right here,” he added.

Romeo has been welcomed with open arms over at San Miguel and the Beermen just mostly want him to fit in with an estbalished system.

San Miguel now wants to win with Romeo and Terrence’s integration to the Beermen has already started.

“What we want from his is to work hard with the team and follow the system,” Austria said of Romeo.

“He should learn how to have a good relationship with his teammates dahil we know he’s a strong player but he cannot win by himself,” he added.

This early, Romeo seems to be making a good impression on the Beermen.

Regardless of his supposed attitude problems, Terrence’s work ethic is second to none in the PBA and San Miguel finally saw it up close and personal after Romeo joined the team in practice.

“Makikita mo talagang very impressive,” Austria said.

“He has a different work ethic eh, his passion in playing basketball is really high. Makikita mo na siguro nung pinanganak siya may kasama nang bola eh,” he added.
