Alyssa Valdez is NLEX Road Warriors' muse
NLEX will be having a phenomenal national volleyball player as their muse in Alyssa Valdez. She is set to parade with the Road Warriors during the opening of the Philippine Basketball Associaton's (PBA) 44th Season on January 13 in the Philippine Arena.
Valdez was chosen by the team for her values of excellence, grit, and resilience as an athlete - the same tenets of coach Yeng Guiao and Road Warrior's philosophy. In addition to her character as a player, she was also picked by the team for being a supporter of the Road Warriors.
The multi-awarded volleyball phenom, who is in a relationship with Road Warrior Kiefer Ravena, has supported the team since the two-time UAAP men's basketball MVP was drafted second overall by NLEX in 2017. Her support did not waver despite Ravena being sidelined due to a FIBA suspension.
This is not the first time that Valdez will be serving as a PBA muse. She was TNT Katropa's muse back in 2015.
