Ginebra’s dynamo bagged another major award Sunday, this time winning Most Improved Player for the 2017-2018 season.

Scottie Thompson’s ascent to true superstar status continues.

Ginebra’s dynamo bagged another major award Sunday, this time winning Most Improved Player for the 2017-2018 season.

2018 was a banner year for Scottie, winning another title with Brgy. Ginebra, his third overall.

Thompson also won Finals MVP for the first time in the Commissioner’s Cup and he finally made it to the national team, earning a spot in Gilas Pilipinas in the 2019 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.

Scottie likewise improved his stats across the board, norming an average of 9.1 points, 9.0 rebounds, 5.6 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. His previous season had him averaging.  8.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.0 steals per outing.
