PBA: Bolick debuts as Northport takes on Blackwater
The former San Beda star was taken 3rd overall by the Batang Pier in the 2018 Draft and he'll partner with MVP runner-up Stanley Pringle in a reloaded Northport backcourt.

Robert Bolick is the first top rookie to debut in the PBA.

Bolick plays his first PBA game Wednesday as Northport takes on Blackwater in the 2019 Philippine Cup.

The former San Beda star was taken 3rd overall by the Batang Pier in the 2018 Draft and he'll partner with MVP runner-up Stanley Pringle in a reloaded Northport backcourt.

The showdown against the Elite would have pitted Bolick against no. 2 pick Ray Parks but Parks remains with Alab Pilipinas in the ABL.

Instead, Blackwater's first game of the season will also mean the debuts of no. 4 pick Paul Desiderio and no. 7 pick Abu Tratter.

Tip off is at 4:30 p.m. live from the Big Dome.

In the second game at 7:00 p.m., no. 5 pick Trevis Jackson and the Meralco Bolts take on a familiar foe in the Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters.
