The PBA superpowers collide rather early in the 2019 Philippine Cup.
Four-time defending champion San Miguel looks to bounce back from a shock loss to Columbian Sunday but standing in the way of the Beermen are rival Brgy. Ginebra.
Both teams have met late in the All-Filipino over the last two seasons with San Miguel beating Ginebra for the title in 2017 and the Beermen eliminating the Gin Kings in the semifinals last year.
Anyway, despite fielding a reloaded lineup, the Beermen were upset by CJ Perez and the Columbian Dyip and the champs look to recover to enter the win column.
Meanwhile, the Gin Kings are coming off an impressive opening-day win over TNT. Tip off will be at 6:45 p.m. live from the Big Dome.
In the first game at 4:30 p.m., Northport goes for 2-0 against NLEX (0-1).
