PBA: No grudge match vs. TNT as Romeo to sit out anew
Terrence Romeo is expected to once again sit out for the Beermen as he continues to recover from an ankle injury sustained during his debut and season-opener with San Miguel.

TNT and San Miguel on Sunday will still be a big game but it will be missing one major link that connects both teams.

Terrence Romeo is expected to once again sit out for the Beermen as he continues to recover from an ankle injury sustained during his debut and season-opener with San Miguel.

Romeo of course was the star guard traded to San Miguel in the offseason. He was reportedly forced out of TNT after just two conferences with the team.

"No Terrence since he got his ankle injury," San Miguel head coach Leo Austria said when asked about the status of Romeo.

"He wasn't able to practice with us, never pa since nagka-injury but everyday nagte-therapy siya," he added.

Initial advice from doctors was to let Terrence rest for a week.

That full week has passed but Romeo and the Beermen would naturally not want to force it, even if a grudge match against the KaTropa is on the horizon.

"I think he wants to be back 100 percent because everybody is expecting him to do well," Austria said.

In his first and only game for the Beermen so far, Romeo finished with seven points and four assists in just 12 minutes, exiting the Columbian game early a couple of weeks back because of his injury.
