PBA: Castro on alleged travel: “Job ng mga referee yun”
With about 10 seconds to go and needing a basket to stay alive, Jayson Castro faked a three-pointer and ended up finding Troy Rosario for a game-tying floater against the Magnolia Hotshots. The only problem was, Castro may have gotten away with a travel.

In TNT’s game-defining play Sunday, the KaTropa might have gotten away with an obvious violation.

With about 10 seconds to go and needing a basket to stay alive, Jayson Castro faked a three-pointer and ended up finding Troy Rosario for a game-tying floater against the Magnolia Hotshots.

The only problem was, Castro may have gotten away with a travel.

Replay showed that Castro should have been called for travel. There was no whistle and the KaTropa ended up winning in overtime.

Whoops.

“Hindi ko na job yun eh,” Castro said on the alleged travel.

“Job ng mga referee yun,” he added, shrugging the whole thing off.

Going away from that non-call though, Castro was brilliant for TNT in the second half.

With the game close all throughout, the Blur carried his team in the second half, pouring 20 of his 24 points after the break. Castro barely had a break and he felt it after the game, as he could barely walked and have to be extensively stretched out by team staff.

Still, it was a big win for TNT.

“Sobrang malaking panalo na naman para samin yun,” Castro said.

“At least before kami mag-break, pampa-dagdag ng confidence namin,” he added.
