Not only is Colegio de San Juan de Letran partnering with a big-time backer, it is also welcoming a big-time scorer.
The Knights, now supported by Petron, will see action in the 2019 PBA D-League with super scorer Alvin Pasaol in tow.
Pasaol, who famously scored 49 points for University of the East, will be leaned on to fill in the big void left behind by Bong Quinto and JP Calvo who had served as main men for the Intramuros-based squad in the last two years.
He will also be a big boon in Letran’s transition to a new coach in Bonnie Tan.
Pasaol, alongside NCAA 94 Rookie of the Year Larry Muyang, Gilas cadet Jeo Ambohot, Bonbon Batiller, Christian Fajarito, Koy Galvelo, and Fran Yu as well as transferee Jordan Sta. Ana, will wage war against 19 other teams
Last year, he suited up for Marinerong Pilipino, serving as a key cog in their playoff run.
