PBA: Struggling Beermen take on struggling Blackwater
San Miguel is actually below .500 near the halfway mark of the tournament with a 2-3 record. The Beermen can remedy that Wednesday as the champs take on Blackwater, a team also struggling to find its footing in the Philippine Cup.

Four-time defending champion San Miguel Beer has fallen into an unusual Philippine Cup losing skid.

For the first time in five conferences, the Beermen have lost back-to-back in the elimination round of the All-Filipino with consecutive setbacks at the hands of TNT and Rain or Shine.

As such, San Miguel is actually below .500 near the halfway mark of the tournament with a 2-3 record.

The Beermen can remedy that Wednesday as the champs take on Blackwater, a team also struggling to find its footing in the Philippine Cup.

The Elite are just 1-4 in 2019 after getting burned by Phoenix last week. San Miguel and Blackwater dispute a much-needed win at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the MOA Arena.

First game at 4:30 p.m. features Columbian Dyip (2-3) and the Alaska Aces (0-1).
