PBA: Belga on 6-1 record: “Title lang yun sa elimination”
Now armed with a four-game winning streak, ROS leads the league with a near-perfect 6-1 record.

Rain or Shine is absolutely rolling right now.

Following Sunday’s big overtime win over the previously-undefeated Phoenix, the Elasto Painters have taken over the no. 1 spot in the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup.

Now armed with a four-game winning streak, ROS leads the league with a near-perfect 6-1 record.

But that doesn’t mean anything.

“Ano lang yun, title lang sa elimination yung 6-1. Useless yung 6-1 and top seed kung di ka aabot ng malayo sa conference,” forward Beau Belga said.

“Yun yung pinaka-challenge samin, we just need to work hard just like kung ano yung mga ginagawa namin dito sa games na to,” he added.

With another game set for Wednesday, ROS would have played eight games in just one month, the most for any team so far in the All-Filipino.

That can’t be helped but the Elasto Painters have done an incredible job of piling up the wins despite a tight schedule.

ROS will rest later.

“Yun ang kagandahan noon, kahit sunud-sunod ang laro, naipapanalo namin. Actually, most of the guys may nararamdaman, ako ‪from Friday‬ may ubo tsaka sipon ako,” Belga said.

“Pero wala, kailangan laruin dahil magku-kulang kami sa tao eh. Good thing pagkatapos ng Wednesday, mahaba-haba yung pahinga, makaka-recover yung katawan,” he added.
