PBA: Terrence plays best game as SMB gets into groove
Terrence has posted season-highs in back-to-back games, following up a 17-point output against Blackwater with a 23-point showing against Magnolia Sunday.

Slowly but surely, Terrence Romeo is finding his groove with San Miguel Beermen.

Terrence has posted season-highs in back-to-back games, following up a 17-point output against Blackwater with a 23-point showing against Magnolia Sunday.

Romeo was balanced and efficient against the Hotshots, scoring at least five points per quarter all while shooting 80 percent from the field.

He’s slowly integrating himself with the Beermen, a process that was delayed with an untimely injury during the season-opener.

“Ini-isip ko pa rin kun paano makakapag-blend sa team,” Romeo said.

“”Di ako pwede makuntento sa isa o dalawang game kasi hindi yun yung goal eh. Ang goal namin is mapuntahan kung saan namin gusto mapunta. So para makarating kami dun kailangan maging consistent ako, kaming lahat,” he added.

Terrence getting into a groove coincides with the Beermen picking up steam as a whole team.

After a below .500 start, San Miguel has won back-to-back games for the first time for a 4-3 record.

“At least alam namin sa sarili namin na kaya naming manalo,” Romeo said.

“Siguro mas kailangan na lang namin maging ready, mas paghandaan yung next game namin after ng pahinga,” he added.
