The biggest PBA D-League yet deserved the brightest season opening yet.

The eight-year-old league did nothing but deliver as beauty queens and volleybelles alike graced the ceremonies on Thursday in Pasig’s Ynares Arena.

Ms. Globe 2018 and Creamline middle blocker Michele Gumabao paraded with Marinerong Pilipino.

Alongside her was another beauty queen in 2018 Miss Supranational Jehza Mae Huelar.

Carrying the banner of Cignal-Ateneo de Manila University were HD Spikers star Rachel Anne Daquis together with their new reinforcements in Erica Wilson and Anastasiya Gurbanova.

Current collegiate volleybelle Sisi Rondina fronted the contingent for her alma mater University of Sto. Tomas.

Also present in the opening ceremonies were actress and model Daiana Menezes for Go for Gold-College of St. Benilde

Ms. Grand International 2016 Nicole Cordoves for AMA

And National University Lady Bulldog Christiana Dimaunahan for SMDC-NU.
