Northport star Stanley Pringle has been slapped with a hefty P75,000 fine and a one-game suspension by the PBA.

Apparently, during the two-week break by the league to give way to Gilas Pilipinas, Northport and Columbian had a tuneup game last Feb. 19.

There, both teams apparently figured in a skirmish and Pringle hit Columbian center Jay-R Reyes.

After the Commissioner summoned the related parties, the PBA has released the final decision on the matter Tuesday and Pringle will be out of cash and has to sit out one game.

The suspension will take effect Wednesday as the Batang Pier (2-2) takes on Phoenix (5-1) at the Big Dome.
