"Pag nakarating kami sa playoffs, blessing at isang honor na makarating sa playoffs sa first conference ko," -- No. 1 pick CJ Perez.
No. 1 pick is CJ Perez is mostly living up to his hype for Columbian.
In his very first PBA conference, he has helped put the Dyip in position for a breakthrough Philippine Cup playoff appearance especially after beating no. 2 Rain or Shine to improve to a 4-5 mark, good for a top eight finish.
While a championship is still a dream for now, an All-Filipino playoff berth is the priority right now for Columbian.
Columbian's playoff push received a huge shot in the arm following the big win against the Elasto Painters.
The Dyip seem to have ROS' number for a while now, extending their winning streak against them to four games now. Columbian scored a season sweep over the Elasto Painters in 2018.
