Magnolia and Alaska meet in Antipolo for the first time since the Governorsí Cup Finals.
The last time Magnolia and Alaska faced each other at the Ynares Center in Antipolo, the Hotshots ended the game by celebrating a championship.
That was in the 2018 PBA Governors’ Cup. It’s the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup now and the scenery is quite different as both teams return to the same arena Saturday.
Despite being severely undermanned, the Aces have it better so far in the All-Filipino, fighting their way to a respetable 3-2 record. In the rematch against Magnolia, Alaska will shoot for back-to-back wins.
Meanwhile, the Hotshots have struggle, stumbling to a 1-4 mark with their playoff hopes already in shambles.
Tip off will be at 7:00 p.m. from Antipolo.
In the first game at 4:30 p.m., TNT (4-3) goes for a third straight victory against a rejuvenated Blackwater team (2-6).
