PBA: Pogoy says he split fine with Jose over “incident
“Harutan lang namin yun, wala tayo magawa kasi rules talaga ng PBA yun eh. Bawal talaga yun, so tinanggap na namin,” — RR Pogoy.

Former FEU teammates RR Pogoy and Raymar Jose had a little “incident” last week in the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup.

During TNT’s eventual 38-point win against Blackwater, Jose flipped the ball towards the direction of Pogoy during a timeout.

The ball ended up hitting Pogoy’s face and thanks the PBA’s existing rules, that earned Jose an automatic ejection.

After the game, Jose said that Pogoy should shoulder the fine. RR playfully declined

However, it turned out that the two former FEU Tamaraws ended up splitting the bill.

“Oo hati kami ni Toto, kasi di niya naman kasalanan,” Pogoy said.

“Harutan lang namin yun, wala tayo magawa kasi rules talaga ng PBA yun eh. Bawal talaga yun, so tinanggap na namin,” he added.

Still, while he ended up paying half of his bro’s fine, Pogoy still managed to include one last bit of trash talk in there.

Just for good measure.

“Sabi ko, ‘To hatian na kita, panalo naman kami eh,’” Pogoy added.
