PBA: TNT makes it four straight after dumping Alaska
The KaTropa’s win against Alaska was their fourth straight and they’re now tied for third place with defending champion San Miguel Beer.

TNT is making a strong play for a top-2 finish in the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup.

The KaTropa rolled to a another win in the All-Filipino, this time a 92-78 decision against the Alaska Aces Friday at the Cuneta Astrodome.

Following a 0-2 start, TNT has won six of its last seven games for a 6-3 record.

The KaTropa’s win against Alaska was their fourth straight and they’re now tied for third place with defending champion San Miguel Beer.

TNT slowly pulled away from an undermanned Alaska team on its way to another impressive win.

After opening up a good enough lead through the third period, the KaTropa dropped the hammer in the fourth, as a 20-point cushion proved to be more than enough.

RR Pogoy continued his breakout conference on offense, leading TNT in scoring with 24 points on 69 percent shooting.

Troy Rosario likewise had a strong outing, puttin up 15 points and five rebounds.

Alaska lost a third straight game and dropped to 3-5. Carl Bryan Cruz dropped 19 for the Aces in a losing effort.

Alaska 78 – Cruz 19, Thoss 13, Enciso 12, Banchero 12, Teng 9, Ayaay 6, Pascual 5, Exciminiano 2, Baclao 0, Galliguez 0, Potts 0.

Quarters: 23-15, 47-38, 74-62, 92-78.
