PBA: Erram on NLEX crushing his former team: “Neutral lang”
Erram, who was traded in the offseason to NLEX for two first-round picks, says it was unusual to play his former team but he has since moved on. He had to as he starts a new chapter of his career with the Road Warriors.

Poy Erram made a PBA career with Blackwater, making a name for himself as the Elite’s star center.

However, Erram no longer plays for Blackwater and Sunday in the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup, the league’s Defensive Player of the Year faced his former for the first time as a member of the NLEX Road Warriors.

Erram says it was just business as his new team crushed his old crew, 122-101.

“Wala naman na, neutral lang. Kasi trabaho to eh, it’s either you win or you lose,” Erram said.

“Yun nga, nanalo kami so maganda sa side namin,” he added.

Poy had himself a game against the Elite, finishing with a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds. He also had two blocks for good measure.

Erram, who was traded in the offseason to NLEX for two first-round picks, says it was unusual to play his former team but he has since moved on. He had to as he starts a new chapter of his career with the Road Warriors.

“Oo nakakapanibago, kasi kasama mo sila for how many years di ba? Tapos makakalaban mo,” Erram said.

“Parang unusual din. Pero part lang ng trabaho yun, kailangan move on. Focus ka sa ginagawa mo and focus ka sa nasa harap mo,” he added.
