The first Manila Clasico of 2019 already has some major playoff implications.
The stakes are always up in Manila Clasico.
In the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup edition, Ginebra and Magnoli will fight for their respective playoff spots in the All-Filipino.
The Gin Kings are at 4-3 and have an outside shot of making the quarterfinals as a top-2 team. However, Ginebra will have to sweep its last four games to have an actual chance.
Meanwhile, Magnolia is at 3-4 as the Hotshots have recovered from a 0-3 start.
Still they have to continue piling up wins as the bottom of the standings is getting crowded with teams trying to sneak into the playoffs.
Gametime is at 6:45 p.m. live from the Big Dome right after the NLEX (3-5) and Blackwater (2-7) that also has some major playoff implications.
