Paul Lee is getting beaten up in the All-Filipino.

Magnolia’s star guard has been dealing with a number of nagging injuries in the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup so far, with the main one being a bum right knee.

He’s still healthy enough to play and lead the Hotshots though.

In the win against Northport Wednesday, Lee fired a game-high 24 points, pacing Magnolia to a crucial victory.

However, the Northport game was the second for Magnolia since Sunday. They have another game scheduled for Friday.

It seems like a cruel coincidence as Lee is dealing with a nagging injury just as Magnolia’s schedule in the Philippine Cup cranks up.

With another game in two days, Lee says he just have to play through it while he can.

Not everyone will be truly 100 percent at this stage of the tournament. No one on his team is complaining about some nagging injuries and he’s not about to sit out while knowing he can still go.

Magandang motivation yun samin,” he added.
