PBA: Aces fight for playoff spot against champion Beermen
At 4-5, the Aces are barely holding on to 8th place in the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup meaning their last two games, including Sunday's clash against the Beermen, are a must-win.

Alaska is on the brink of elimination and the next team in its schedule is four-time defending champion San Miguel Beer.

Of course.

At 4-5, the Aces are barely holding on to 8th place in the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup meaning their last two games, including Sunday's clash against the Beermen, are a must-win.

Meanwhile, the champion Beermen have no shot at top-2 finish and will be locked in a best-of-3 series in the quarterfinals.

Still, San Miguel wants to improve upon its current 6-4 mark and enter the playoffs on a high note.

Tip off will be at 6:45 p.m. Sunday live from the Big Dome.

In the first game at 4:30 p.m., streaking TNT makes one final case for twice-to-beat advantage as they take on Noorthport.

The KaTropa are on a five-game run and currently sport a 7-3 record. If TNT makes it to 8-3 and idle Ginebra (6-3) loses at least one for game, the flagship MVP franchise will wrap up the no. 2 seed.

The Batang Pier are on the opposite end of the spectrum and will enter with a six-game losing skid. Despite a 2-6 record though, Northport still has an actual chance to crash the playoff party.
