PBA ALL-STAR: Belga to defend Skills title against June Mar
Belga made it a three-peat for Rain or Shine boys last year and for 2019, Beau is looking to match his teammate Maverick Ahanmisi with back-to-back wins in the Obstacle Challenge.

The Obstacle Challenge featuring only big men was one of the better surprises in the 2018 PBA All-Star Game in Batangas.

It was fun and sure enough, the format returns Friday for a 2019 edition in Calasiao, Pangasinan with Beau Belga looking to make it back-to-back.

Belga made it a three-peat for Rain or Shine boys last year and for 2019, Beau is looking to match his teammate Maverick Ahanmisi with back-to-back wins in the Obstacle Challenge.

Looking to stop that development are Poy Erram of NLEX and Mo Tautuaa of Northport.

Also going after the crown are Yousef Taha (TNT), Noy Baclao (Alaska), Justin Chua (Phoenix), Raymar Jose (Blackwater), Prince Caperal (Ginebra), Russel Escoto (Columbian), Brian Faundo (Meralco), Kyle Pascual (Magnolia), and San Miguel Beer’s five-time MVP June Mar Fajardo.

The Obstacle Challenge is set for Friday in Calasiao as part of the side events that also include the 3-point shootout and the Slam Dunk contest.

The 2019 PBA All-Star weekend is supported by cignal/PBA Rush, Tag Huer, Peak, Molten/Mueller, Gatorade and Crystal Clear.
