PBA: Ping thankful for latest All-Star in his home province

CALASIAO, Pangasinan — Marc Pingris has not played in over a year no thanks to a torn ACL.

But with the 2019 PBA All-Star Game happening in his home province, no way Ping misses it.

He’s close to returning to active duty for Magnolia so him suiting up even in limited minutes for Sunday’s North vs. South clash is not out of the question.

After a long recovery process, Ping’s health is top priority of course.

So if he can’t actually play in the All-Star Game, he’ll find other ways to contribute.

“Sobrang na-touch talaga ako, kasi parang one year na ako wala sa PBA dahil sa injury ko but talagang naalala pa rin nila ako,” Ping said of the Pangasinan fans that have embraced him and the league.

Sobrang blessed talaga. Kung di man [ako makalaro], mamimigay na lang ako ng sando,” he added.
