CALASIAO, Pangasinan — Beau Belga remains as the king of the obstacle course in the PBA.

Big Beau defended his Obstacle Challenge title in the 2019 PBA All-Star Games Friday here, recording a time of 21 seconds in the final round.

He was only 0.3 seconds better than Columbian’s Russel Escoto who came in second place, making the first side event of this year’s festivities extra dramatic.

Belga breezed through all obstacles in the final round and had about a five-second allowance to make the final free throw shot to complete the course.

Beau missed the first one before barely beating the clock with a second shot.

In winning back-to-back titles, Belga also made sure that the Obstacle Challenge title stays with Rain or Shine.

It’s the fourth straight year that an Elasto Painter won the event, guard Maverick Ahanmisi won in 2016 and 2017.

Belga also pocketed a cool P30,000 for his victory.
