PBA: Parks finally signs with Blackwater
Parks joins a Blackwater team with fellow first round picks Abu Tratter and Paul Desiderio as the Elite look to bounce back after a 2-9 showing in the All-Filipino.

Ray Parks is finally a part of the Elite.

The no. 2 pick of the 2018 PBA Draft has officially signed with the PBA team that owns his rights Tuesday and he should be ready to debut in the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup next month.

Accompanied by agent Charlie Dy, Parks signed a one-year deal with Blackwater. He is expected to report to Elite practice immediately.

Taken second overall by the Ever Bilena franchise, Parks missed the entire Philippine Cup as he had to finish his duties with San Miguel-Alab Pilipinas in the ABL. Alab lost its championship last week, getting swept in the quarterfinals by Hong Kong Eastern.
