PBA: ROS and Magnolia duke it out again for Game 2 of semis
The Elasto Painters naturally go for a 2-0 lead but the Hotshots should come out better prepared this time after admitting that they weren’t exactly prepared to deal with Rain or Shine’s depth.

After a very physical Game 1, expect a rougher Game 2 as Rain or Shine and Magnolia get right back into it in the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup semifinals.

Behind rookie Javee Mocon, the no. 2 Elasto Painters got their series-opening win, taking full advantage of a weary Hotshots team.

Rain or Shine was balanced in its attack as well, getting key contributions from the rest its bench to stop Magnolia for a 1-0 lead in the best-of-7.

The Elasto Painters naturally go for a 2-0 lead but the Hotshots should come out better prepared this time after admitting that they weren’t exactly prepared to deal with Rain or Shine’s depth.

Still, it’s not wise to count out Magnolia in such a long series and expect Game 2 to top Game 1 in terms of sheer intensity and urgency from both teams.

Game 2 will tip off at 6:30 p.m. Sunday live from the Big Dome.
