PBA: ROS takes commanding lead with Game 2 rout of Magnolia

New game, new set of role players to step up for Rain or Shine.

The Elasto Painters’ depth shined once again in the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup semifinals and ROS picked up a 93-80 Game 2 win over Magnolia Sunday at the Big Dome.

Ed Daquioag followed his solid Game 1 outing with a sensational one in Game 2, leading ROS to a commanding 2-0 lead in the best-of-7.

Daquioag led all scorers with 19 points while Norbert Torres proved to be the surprise for the Elasto Painters this time, adding 16 points on 5/6 shooting in 14 and a half minutes.

Rey Nambatac likewise had another solid outing, finishing with 12 markers and ROS’ young role players continue to impress in this series.
