San Miguel Beer is now up two games to none in this best-of-7 series.

Tied at 63 through three quarters, the Beermen got a pair of triples from Chris Ross and Marcio Lassiter in the final three minutes and change to create the separation needed to down the Fuel Masters for the second time in three days.
“It’s draining,” head coach Leo Austria said as his Beermen somehow pulled this one off.
“We’re lucky we’re able to escape this game as the winner. Everything we do, they know how to stop—how to disrupt our offense. But fortunately, our players refused to lose,” he addded.
Lassiter was the hero for San Miguel in this one, leading all scorers with 24 points to go along with seven rebounds. Five-time MVP June Mar Fajardo has a bounce back game after fouling out in the series opener, scoring 19 points and grabbing 18 rebounds.
