PBA: Physical Phoenix go for 2-2 tie against champion SMB
The top-ranked Fuel Masters finally got a win on Easter, surviving the four-time champion Beermen in a highly-physical outing.

After a brutal Game 3, the Phoenix-San Miguel Philippine Cup semifinals series continues Tuesday with Game 4 and things are expected to heat up even further.

The top-ranked Fuel Masters finally got a win on Easter, surviving the four-time champion Beermen in a highly-physical outing.

It was Phoenix’s first win in the semifinals in franchise history.

Still, the Fuel Masters are down 1-2 in the best-of-7 and will go for a tie as the series resumes at the Cuneta Astrodome.

Meanwhile, the Beermen were uncharateristically sloppy towards the end of Game 3, missing a bunch of free throws that could have allowed the champs to pull away for the win similar to how they won Game 2.

Nevertheless, San Miguel had a chance to steal a win in the final seconds and the Beermen should still be favored heading into Game 4.

Tip off will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.
