PBA: Streaking Hotshots out to eliminate ROS
Magnolia took over the best-of-7 showdown Wednesday, escaping the Elasto Painters with a hardly-fought Game 5 win.

Down 0-2, Magnolia has won three straight in the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup semifinals against Rain or Shine.

Friday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo, the Hotshots go for four to wrap up the series in six.

Magnolia took over the best-of-7 showdown Wednesday, escaping the Elasto Painters with a hardly-fought Game 5 win.

The Hotshots now only need one more to seal a Finals rematch against defending four-time champion San Miguel as the Beermen sealed their spot with a 4-1 semis win against top-ranked Phoenix.

Playing so well to start these semifinals, ROS has now lost three straight games in the fourth quarter pretty much and the second-ranked Elasto Painters are officially on the brink.

Game 6, with ROS’ conference on the line, will tip off at 7:00 p.m. Friday.
