The Hotshots still have one chance to make the Finals despite dropping such a crucial outing in Game 6.
Magnolia lost a pivotal Game 6 Friday in the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup semifinals.
It’s a good thing the Hotshots were up 3-2 entering the game or else they would have been headed for a vacation.
They still have one chance to make the Finals despite dropping such a crucial outing.
“Buti na lang may Game 7 pa,” Magnolia head coach Chito Victolero said after an 81-91 loss to Rain or Shine Friday in Antipolo.
“They outworked us, they were more aggressive than us. They want it more than us this game,” he added.
Now faced with yet another do-or-die situation, Victolero says he’ll have his team ready for Sunday.
And then it’s up to the players’ will to win to carry them through in Game 7.
“We’ll try to see the film and tignan kung ano pwede naming gawin pa,” he said.
“We’ll be ready Sunday. Basically it’s all about the will and desire of the players. Konting adjustment lang diyan, kung sino mas may gusto on Sunday yun mananalo,” he added.
