Erasing a 17-point deficit in the third quarter, Magnolia took the best-of-7 series, four games to the Elasto Painters’ three.
In a defensive struggle, Magnolia found just enough offense to take Game 7 in extra time.
The Hotshots survived no. 2 Rain or Shine in overtime, taking a tough 63-60 win Sunday at the MOA Arena to win the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup semifinals.
