June Mar on Spidey incident: “Papansin lang yun”
June Mar was shaken up in the incident. Obviously, he didn’t expect to see and collide with a random fan dressed as a popular superhero.

In a crazy sequence, Game 5 of the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup Finals was halted with three minutes to go when a random fan dressed as Spider-Man stormed the court at the Araneta Coliseum.

In doing so, “Spidey” hit San Miguel’s June Mar Fajardo, the league’s reigning five-time Most Valuable Player.

June Mar was shaken up in the incident. Obviously, he didn’t expect to see and collide with a random fan dressed as a popular superhero.

“Gulat lang ako, sino ba ang hindi magugulat. Hindi naman natin ine-excpect na mangyayari yun,” Fajardo said of the incident.

“Papansin lang yun. Mali yung way niya, nakuyog tuloy siya,” he added.

A gentle giant, June Mar is just concerned for the safety of everyone naturally.

Fajardo urged all PBA fans to don’t imitate such acts. Seriously, don’t even think about it.

“Sa mga fans, wag tularan yung ganun. Mali yung way na yun,” June Mar said.

“Sana di na maulit. Delikado yung ginawa niya. Buti walang na-injury sa ginawa niya,” he added.

June Mar was hit near his face in the jaw area due to the incident. He assures that he’s okay.

“Okay lang naman, masakit lang yung panga ko,” Fajardo said.

“Di ko kasi ine-expect yun. Paglingon ko [nandoo na]. Yung pwersa ko pa-forward eh,” he added.
