A person dressed as Spider-Man stormed the court late in Game 5 of the PBA Philippine Cup Finals between San Miguel Beer and Magnolia Friday.
He ended up colliding with June Mar Fajardo, the league’s five-time MVP andd most important player.
It was crazy to say the least.
Arwind Santos, the PBA’s self-proclaimed Spider-Man has reacted on the incident, saying the Beermen were pretty angry over the whole incident but had to naturally exercise caution.
The incident was a first for the PBA and it was equal parts stupid and even funny.
Santos, who’s learned to take things in stride over the latter part of his colorful and magical career, had some things to say to the Spider-Man that stormed the court.
“Ibang klase idea niya no? Talagang nakakagulat naman talaga. Wala silang pakealam kung makaka-istorbo sila o makakasira ng ganitong klaseng event,” he said.
Turning a little serious, Santos addressed Game 5 for the game it was.
The Beermen lost on a buzzer-beater by Mark Barroca. Now, San Miguel’s dynasty is truly in trouble as the team trail the Finals, 2-3.
“All in all, sayang yung laro. Siguro talagang para sa kanila. Masakit kasi buzzer beater eh diba? Maraming kasi, kasi, kasi.
