PBA Finals: Stunt backfires as “Spidey” can’t even vote now
In the words of Tony Stark in Avengers, “Not a great plan.”

Spider-Man was so far from home Friday night.

A random man dressed as the Marvel hero stormed the court of the Araneta Coliseum, halting the crucial Game 5 of the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup Finals between San Miguel Beer and Magnolia.

He ended up hitting five-time MVP June Mar Fajardo in one of the craziest incidents in league history.

Spidey, who was been identified 31-year-old Paolo Felizarta by police, tried to justify the stunt as something that was done in the name of love.

“Gusto ko lang po magmahalan tayo,” he said.

“Ito lang po talaga pagkakataon para maayos tayo lahat,” he added.

Spidey brought a ton of signages on court, which were vehicles to deliver his message pretty much.

At the QCPD station 7, some of the signages included messages such as, “Love Philippines” and “Vote Wisely This May 13.”

However, the stunt has backfired on Spidey and Felizarta will have no chance to practice what he was preaching. With PBA set to file charges of unjust vexation plus alarm and scandal, Felizarta will be detained at least a week as his case gets processed.

He will miss the mid-term elections on Monday.
