PBA: Parks Jr. debuts for Blackwater finally
Parks, the no. 2 pick of the 2018 Draft and son of arguably the very best PBA import ever, plays his first game in the big leagues, suiting up for Blackwater Elite to open the 2019 Commissioner’s Cup.

Finally, Bobby Ray Parks Jr. makes his PBA debut Sunday.

Parks, the no. 2 pick of the 2018 Draft and son of arguably the very best PBA import ever, plays his first game in the big leagues, suiting up for Blackwater Elite to open the 2019 Commissioner’s Cup.

The first opponent for Ray Parks? Meralco, a team that recently made the trade of the ongoing season so far by acquiring star big man Raymond Almazan from Rain or Shine.

Import story is also pretty big to start the mid-season joust as the Elite will parade Alex Stepheson as reinforcement.

Stepheson of course played for Meralco two years ago. The Bolts now have Gani Lawal as import.

Tip off for Meralco-Blackwater is at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the MOA Arena and it will be followed by a 6:45 p.m. clash between Alaska and Columbian Dyip.
