PBA: Aces arrest skid with 13-point win over NLEX

Alaska has finally bounced back from a recent slump.
The Aces dumped a struggling NLEX team Wednesday in the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup, scoring a 100-87 win at the MOA Arena.
Finishing off a loaded four-game slate to start the conference with a victory, Alaska sits with an even 2-2 mark in the mid-season joust.
All five starters scored in double figures but Jeron Teng was impressive in particular for Alaska.
Teng led the Aces with 20 points, a nice even number on top of a career-high 15 rebounds.
Import Chris Daniels struggled shooting from the field but still managed 17 while Chris Banchero likewise had 17 points.
NLEX welcomed new import Tony Mitchell to the fold and he scored 34 points in a losing effort.
Poy Erram added 16 but the Road Warriors dropped to 0-3 for the conferencex. NLEX played without head coach Yeng Guiao who is in Europe for a personal break.
