PBA: Pringle day-to-day says Pido as star deals with injury
In a win against San Miguel Beer Wednesday, Stanley was out of action as he continues to deal with his foot that had surgery in the conference break to remove bone spurs.

Stanley Pringle has not been 100 percent for Northport in the 2019 PBA Commissioner's Cup.

Pringle has practically suited up for one and a half of the Batang Pier's current five games so far, scoring a team-high 22 points against TNT and only playing a part in a loss to Ginebra.

In a win against San Miguel Beer Wednesday, Stanley was out of action as he continues to deal with his foot that had surgery in the conference break to remove bone spurs.

"Nung last game [vs. Ginebra], medyo sumasakit na naman paa niya," head coach Pido Jarencio said of Pringle.

"Kasi may sugat pa konti kaya siguro masakit," he added.

Despite limited action, Pringle is putting in the work says Jarencio. Stanley should be ready rock with the Batang Pier once he's fit and able.

"Day to day basis," Jarencio said on Pringle's status.

"Yung bata ayaw tumigil mag-ensayo. Di sumasabay sa 5-on-5, pero yung presence niya nandoon. Ayaw absent, kasi pag absent fine," he added laughing.

Northport, currently tied for first with a 4-1 record, returns to action next week against Magnolia.
