PBA: Elite grab solo first again after keeping NLEX winless
Now winners of back-to-back games, Blackwater improved to 5-1, breaking a previous tie with idle Northport for pole position.

ANTIPOLO CITY, Rizal — The Elite just keep piling up wins.

Blackwater got another nice victory in the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup, this time a 132-106 decision over NLEX Saturday at the Ynares Center here.

Using a strong offensive performance, the Elite weathered several NLEX runs, with a lead as high as 17 proving to be more than enough to secure solo first place in the mid-season joust.

Now winners of back-to-back games, Blackwater improved to 5-1, breaking a previous tie with idle Northport for pole position.
