PBA: Parks offers no more comments regarding Calvin issue
Earlier in the week, the PBA has dropped the hammer on Calvin for a number of controversies, one of which was his altercation with Parks’ girlfriend as the Fuel Masters opened their campaign in the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.

ANTIPOLO CITY, Rizal — Ray Parks no longer wants to comment on the unfortunate incident involving his girlfriend and Phoenix forward Calvin Abueva.

Earlier in the week, the PBA has dropped the hammer on Calvin for a number of controversies, one of which was his altercation with Parks’ girlfriend as the Fuel Masters opened their campaign in the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.

For all his offenses, Abueva was fined P70,000 and is suspended indefinitely.

Parks offered no comment when asked about Calvin’s sanctions.

Ray did comment about his girlfriend though, who he says he misses in the stands. Since the incident, Parks’ girlfriend has not watched any games live at the venues.

“I love seeing her in the stands, she loves cheering and being in my games supporting me all the way through,” Ray said Saturday after his Blackwater Elite improved to 5-1 for the conference after a win over NLEX at the Ynares Center here.

“I just wanna protect her and put her in the best position possible,” Parks added.

While his girlfriend hasn’t been in any games live, Parks says she’s watching onlie for sure. Ray also says that she’ll be back at the venues eventually.

“Live game nah but she’s definitely watching online for sure,” he said.

“Soon enough,” Parks added when asked if his girlfriend will be back at the games live.
