Things have been a little rough for the Beermen in the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
Following a 36-point beating at the hands of Magnolia Wednesday, San Miguel Beer has suffered its second 30-point loss in the mid-season joust.
The Beermen also dropped to 2-4 in the team standings, complicating their playoff hopes by just a little bit.
Still, San Miguel refuses to press the panic button. Arwind Santos certainly won’t dwell on this loss too much.
“Kasi ako yung tao na yung mga negative, ginagawa ko kaagad sa positive,” he said.
“Kasi given yan na hindi lahat ng matatanggap mo sa buhay is positive or pumapabor sayo,” Santos added.
Facing off against Magnolia, the Hotshots had extra motivation to win as its the first meeting between the two teams since Game 7 of the Philippine Cup Finals.
Santos says Magnolia can have this 36-point win and they’ll keep their nice trophy after capturing Game 7 of the Finals.
